Having not really cruised before aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, I was very curious and of course anxious to see what they had to offer.
We arrived to pick up the ship in Malaga, picked up a local cab at the airport and 15-20 minutes later we arrived at the ship (cost was €27 for anyone without transfers!).

“ Costa Luminosa”

Perhaps one of the best looking ships I have ever seen, the interior is incredibley striking from the minute you set foot onboard. Very modern, almost a futuristic feel to the Luminosa.
Really nice cabins with plenty of room, good size balcony.
Initially was concerned about the ship being Italian but the atmosphere was great & all the staff seemed to speak a variety of languages so everyone was...

Anyway on board the ship, there are the usual facilities you would expect, although a little smal...
“ Brilliant Ship”

There are some stunning public rooms & lounges on this ship, my favourite being the Metropolis lounge at the very top of the ship. All of the lounges have afternoon & evening enter...
“ Amazing Independence of the Seas”
Independence of the Seas, posted 08/09/2010 08:51
The ship is certainly designed for families with both young and older children in mind, but they also offer fantastic facilities for couples between ages of 20-60. To be honest there is something for absolutely everyone on board this ship.
Dining was overall very good, excellent & efficient table staff showing good knowledge of the menu, and same with the wine waiters. Good times between course...
