Carnival Dream Reviews

We sailed on the Carnival Dream on its first sailing out its new home port of Port Canaveral (Orlando). This was a special 9 night cruise, rather than the usual 7 nights. As the ship was brand new it looked fantastic, and more than lived up to our expectations. The food was great, no complaints at all. The buffet itself had the largest choice of food I have ever seen on a cruise ship. There is the usual Pizza and Burgers, and the buffet lines themselves, but also there is a Mongolian Wok area where you pick the ingredients from a large choice, and they stir fry it for you right there. There was also a curry station, and a deli station, where they make sandwiches of your choice, on a huge range of breads and made how you like it.
The entertainment and activities was non stop all day, with soooo much to do.
My favourite part of the ship is the new wrap around promenade which is open from above, so your not in shadow. You can lie on a sun bed, take a dip in one of the 4 jacuzzi's that overhang the side of the ship.
The Carnival Waterworks on the top deck was excelent for kids, and grown ups too!
There is also a giant movie screen by the main pool, for movies.
Another feature of this ship is at night by the main pool, they have a lazer show, which has to been seen!!!
We had a fantastic time on Carnival, and connot wait to go back!
