    Job description

    Cruise club UK wishes to expand the sales family and the role of Cruise Sales has become available. We are looking for outstanding sales individuals to come and work in our busy cruise call centre based in Prestwich, Greater Manchester. However for the Right Candidate we can arrange homeworking options to suit.
    With a passion for all things Cruise, selling, delivering excellent service, bringing new initiatives to the forefront we would like to hear from you. Working closely with the sales team and call centre manager in this thriving enthusiastic sales environment.
    Established for over 30 years and a leader in their market, this is a great chance to work for a well-established company regularly featured in the national press with a strong online presence.     This role requires an ambitious sales specialist, highly motivated in delivering excellent customer service and building rapport to turn prospect customers into sales, contributing to the company’s success...

    This roles responsibilities will include:

    • Taking enquires over the phone and via email for a variety of cruise itineraries
    • Offering a friendly informative service
    • Closing the sale to confirm the customers cruise itinerary with accuracy
    • Reaching and exceeding sales targets to earn additional commission & bonuses
    • Ability to identify and act on up selling opportunities
    • Administration duties to complete customer transactions

    Experience/Skills:

    • The successful candidate will have strong Cruise Sales experience and be extremely customer focused to offer exceptional service preferably gained within the Travel Industry.
    • A keen interest and enthusiasm for Travel, Cruise Sales providing a quality service to our customers.
    • Strong administration and organisational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
    • Motivated and have the ability to achieve/exceed personal & business sales targets
    • Able to work as part of a team and with other teams as well as unsupervised
    • Able to perform under pressure in a busy environment
    • A responsible attitude including use of own initiative and adaptability.


    An attractive financial package is on offer to the right enthusiastic sales candidate. With guaranteed annual minimum £25k including bonuses, our best sales agents annually earn £35,000 to £40,000 including Bonusses. Cruise Club UK operates a performance related incentive scheme which includes various measures of success and rewards individual’s excellent sales performance.     Airline reservation and ticketing executive

    Job description


    As an Airline reservation and ticketing executive your responsibilities will include the issuing of airline tickets, accurately and within set parameters to a given time frame. You will also work closely with the product team, helping to identify suitable routes and fares for the company’s portfolio of holiday offers. Finding cost savings and ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality to avoid errors and penalties, you will manage ticketing and airline ques and be on hand to assist the sales and administration teams.

    This roles responsibilities will include:

    • Making new flight reservations.
    • Reviewing and quality checking existing flight reservations.
    • Amending when needed existing reservations to correct any errors.
    • Working with the product team to find suitable routes and fares.
    • Negotiating and managing group contracts with airlines on behalf of the product team.
    • Knowledge of fare rules as per airline contracts, to avoid penalties, cost increases and ADMS.
    • Managing ticketing and airline queues.
    • Quality checking clients final itineraries.
    • Supporting the sales and administration teams dealing with issuing, customer upgrades and any changes.
    • Issuing published fares, ensuring accuracy for customer details and requirements.
    • Issuing contracted fares, ensuring accuracy for customer details, requirements and fare rules.
    • Identifying cost savings by utilising strategic ticketing rules.
    • Being a Sabre Super User.

    Experience/Skills:

    • Strong administration and organisational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external suppliers.

    Cruise Product & Tailor Made Holiday Specialist:

Its been a sensational year so far and Cruiseclub UK wishes to expand their Product & Marketing team to meet these demands. We're looking for an exceptional travel industry candidate to come and join us as a Product Executive. Working closely with the team , the successful candidate will be responsible for creating tailor-made cruise packages, promoting cruise deals on social media, checking website content to ensure all listed deals are correct and up to date . This exciting and really varied role is perfectly suited to those with 3-4 years travel industry experience. A fantastic starting salary awaits depending on previous experience plus bonuses.

    This roles responsibilities will include:

    • Design, create, price existing and new Cruise Packages working closely with our partners.

    • Identify gaps in the marketplace to create new opportunities.

    Experience/Skills:

    • Able to Dynamic Package products (all elements including Flights, Hotels, Tours & Transfers).

    Junior Accountant

    Job description


    We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
    Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
    The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

    This roles responsibilities will include:

    • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
    • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
    • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
    • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
    • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
    • Assist with other accounting projects.
    • Booking keeping and receipt analysis.
    • Preparing & reporting VAT returns.
    • Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers.
    • Assisting account preparation up to trial balance.
    • Assisting with the running of bank accounts and gaining approval for payments.
    • Maintaining relationships with all major stakeholders.

    Experience/Skills:

    • Proven experience as a junior accountant.
    • Excellent organising abilities.
    • Great attention to detail.
    • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
    • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software SAGE 50 (essential).
    • Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required.
    • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
