Fred.Olsen Cruises
Friendly and traditionally-British small-ship cruising
- Fred. Olsen Cruise Line’s smaller, more understated ships have a home-from-home feel
- Fewer guests onboard means a more personalised service
- A great choice for people who would rather cruise from the UK than fly
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is a family-run line, still owned by the same family who founded the company in 1848. The line is comprised of four small-to-medium sized ships, Balmoral, Braemar, Bolette and Borealis.
The destination is key with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Departing from several UK ports, itineraries take in plenty of European cities, but other more exotic, far-flung destinations as well. Port lecturers will arm you with information about each port before going ashore, so you can really get a feel for each place.
The smaller size of each vessel also means you’re able to navigate to smaller ports, some of which are inaccessible to the larger ships. On board RIBs can also get you closer to the sights on the shore and away from the tourist trail.
